The AI Innovation Consortium (AIIC) is hosting Evolve 2021, a 2-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) conference on August 12th and 13th. Attendees can view sessions both virtually and in person at the University of Houston (UofH) College of Technology in Sugarland, Texas. V-Soft Consulting is a presenting sponsor of the event.
The AIIC’s mission is to bring together industry leaders across different domains to support a holistic perspective on Artificial Intelligence to build standards and best practices that help drive technology adoption. Evolve 2021 will further this mission with a line-up of AI experts, business insiders successfully using AI today and academic representatives from top universities across the US.
“As a founding member of the AIIC, we believe in its mission to drive AI adoption and understanding on a corporate and educational level,” said V-Soft President, Purna Veer. “AI is the future, and the more we help position our communities to embrace the technology, the better off we will be. Events like Evolve 2021 help put us closer to that goal.”
The 2-day event will feature keynotes, presentations, workshops, and panel discussions from AI industry leaders like Siemens and NVIDIA, as well as professors from the University of Houston, Louisiana State University, Penn State University, and the University of Louisville.
Konrad Konarski, V-Soft’s VP of IoT, Analytics, and AI, as well as Chairman and Founding Member of the AIIC, will be opening the event on Thursday with the UofH Dean of the College of Technology, Anthony Ambler. He’ll also be moderating 2 panels focused on AI in the Oil & Gas and Manufacturing industries.
V-Soft’s Head of AI and Analytics, William Aiken, will host the workshop “How AI is transforming Quality Control” on Thursday.
Manoj Iragavarapu, VP of Digital Strategy Consulting and Security, will participate in the Robotic and Intelligent Process Automation (RPA & IPA) panel on Friday. The panel will host a “cross-functional group of experts from industry, academia and technology providers for a discussion on process automation, its application, and how to get started.”
“We are a big supporter of the work the AIIC does and I’m happy to share my experience with developing RPA strategies for V-Soft clients with the audience at Evolve,” Iragavarapu said.
The conference is free and open to the public. Some afternoon workshops are invitation-only, however.
