V-Soft Cares hosted its eighth annual charity golf scramble on Monday, June 27th and donated $60,000 to Home of the Innocents (HOTI). The 2022 scramble took place at historic Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY. Each year, V-Soft Cares hosts this golf scramble benefitting a different charity in the Louisville community. In 2022, V-Soft Cares chose to work with Home of the Innocents, an organization dedicated to providing residential and community services for medically complex children and children and families in the child welfare system.
The event featured a traditional golf scramble with 83 players, as well as raffle prizes, live auction, and silent auction, allowing participants to bid on fun and unique prizes, such as high-end bourbon packages and fitness memberships – all donated from area businesses.
The 2022 Scramble fundraised more money than ever before.
“I am thrilled we were able to reach a milestone of $60,000 for such a worthy cause in Home of the Innocents,” said Brianna Kolder, Chair of the V-Soft Cares Committee. “This is the most we have ever donated to a charity, and it’s all thanks to the fundraising we received from our generous sponsors and individual contributors.”
The event is organized by the V-Soft Cares Committee, a group of V-Soft Consulting employees who donate their time to planning the annual event.
“The time, effort, and skill the entire V-Soft Cares Committee pours into the charity golf scramble is remarkable,” said Kendra Simon, Manager of Outreach at Home of the Innocents. “You are truly making a difference in the lives of those in need.”
The funds donated will directly support the programs offered by Home of the Innocents to serve children in need. HOTI has dozens of beneficial programs, such as the Kosair Charities Pediatric Convalescent Center, residential and emergency shelters, parenting classes, therapy services, and much more.
